Lovely Charms are somewhat of a rare commodity–going for huge chunks of gold on the auction house (as bracelets), and being divvied up sparingly by various miserly mobs. For the achievement alone I needed 120 of these random drops, and was looking for the quickest, least painful way to get them.

I first tried Ulduar on Tuesday, but apparently Blizz moved exceptionally fast and hotfixed that tactic (along with any other mobs you kill with a vehicle). I put out some feelers for a spot with lots of meleeing, aoe-able creatures. A guildie offered up a spot suggestion: by the Avatar of Freya in Sholazar Basin.

Prot-healing Paladin General Tips!

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Paladin Guides, WoW Raiding Guides

some tips on how to make the Holy/Prot Talent Calculator – World of Warcraft spec work a little better for you.

The basic purpose of this spec, as you can see from looking over it, is a high rate of survivability without a huge gimp to your ability to heal. What you might think right away is it’s not enough points in healing, but it really is. With the Touched by the Light talent, it increases the amount your critical heals do, so my flash of lights basically critically heal for eight to ten thousand.

Which brings me to the first part of this”Guide”, healing. You need to go ahead and take Holy Light off of your bars, because you don’t need it. It is arguable that it’s still helpful if you need to bubble and top yourself/team mates off, but trust me, you’ll be more mana efficient and better off with Flash of Light. The reasoning behind this is your flash of light, as I stated above, can critically heal for up to ten thousand, where as your Holy Light will base heal for around that much, with a much higher mana cost. So once you factor in mana, number of heals cast and healing done, all while in combat, Flash of Light is the better choice. Keeping Sacred Shield up on your target will help tremendously as well, as whenever it procs it gives your Flash of Light a 50% to critically heal, putting you at about an 80% chance, depending on your gear.

If you are a Prot Paladin you can Powerlevelling a friend extremly fast in Donjon.
You will say it’s common sense!
Theres is no exploit here, juste advice.
Go to Halls of Stones with your friend (76) and clean everything exept 2 last boss (event with Bronzbeard and the last one) they don’t give so much money and Xp and make you loose time. Rince and repeat.
Each mob give to your friend 5k xp rested (76) 4,5k xp (78) 3,5k(79) Hudge patrol 9k xp rested and boss 14k xp rested.
If you or your friend is Ingenior/Minor its interesting too! (U can mine/ingeniring a lot of mob here)
You are in stormpeaks so theres a lot of Ulduar relic, green and blue!
About 3 relic per Mob, it s faster than farming outside!

In 4h30 he takes 2lv rest (76/78) and me 246 Relic ( without my friend ones) and a lot of money in green, blue and grey.

STRATEGY
Soloing Karazhan basically boils down to two things: Managing Seal of Light/Wisdom and their judgements, and patience. Most of the time, I keep Seal of Light up and judge Wisdom. When I’m faced with several mobs, I just use SoL/JoL. Their feeble attempts at hitting a level 80 keep mana full.

Almost none of these fights are quick, and some rely on luck. You have to have the patience for it, or you might as well just so solo Ony and the first 3 bosses of AQ20 and go home.

For you gold-seekers out there, a full clear of all but Netherspite and Nightbane will get you about 1k gold.

PREPARATION
I brought a few mana pots with me for the REALLY LONG fights like Curator and Shade. Also, bring some Chromatic Resistance flasks and maybe a couple pieces of Fire and Arcane Resistance gear. If you don’t have it already, go solo Shattered Halls for the Figurine of the Colossus. That thing is incredibly OP.

My stats, unbuffed, were 29.9k health, 25.4k armor, 25.3% dodge, 18.9% parry, and 18.3% block. I was wearing somewhere in between T7 and T7.5 (my main spec is holy). Anyway, on with the show.
