Reward(s): 13g 23s, 1x Valiant’s Seal and 250 Reputation for each: The Silver Covenant and The Faction you currently hold Valiant Status with
Acquire this quest from the Mount Master for the Faction you currently hold Valiant Status with, and make your way to the Argent Crusade Camp located in the Court of Bones (49, 71), South of Corp’rethar. Mount up on a Stabled Campaign Charger. Here you’ll be putting your new found skills in mounted combat to “practical” use. Stack your Defend (fourth ability) to three and make your way out into the court. You’ll need to kill 10 Boneguard Scouts (Gargoyles), 15 Boneguard Footmen (Skeletons), and 3 Boneguard Lieutenants (the mounted guys with 1 Defend). The Scouts are nearly one-shot material: a Charge (third ability) or a pair of consecutive Shieldbreaker (second ability) will take them out. Boneguard Footman are even less of a threat – They’ll be trampled under the hooves of your mount so just ride over them. As for the Lieutenants, pull them away from their formation and deal with them on their own. They have similar abilities to you, so be prepared to take a hit if your Defend is low. While doing this at all costs AVOID the Boneguard Commanders (Mounted Mobs with 3 Defend). They are equivilent to Faction Champions on the Tournament Grounds but have much more health. After a week or so of practice you’ll be ready for them. Once you have the required targets slain, return to the quest giver at the Tournament Grounds for your reward.

Strength, strength and more strength
As a DPS spec, retribution paladins don’t have much they care about in the way of stats. Yeah, getting to the hit cap (8% or 263 hit rating) is fairly important and critical strike rating helps out as well. However, the stat we love more than anything else is strength. We love buckets of the stuff. If you’ve got a gem slot, your best choice of gem is almost always a Bold Cardinal Ruby. For every one point of strength you’ve got, it will give you two points of attack power. If you take the talent Divine Strength from the protection tree, that will increase it to 2.3 attack power from each point of strength.
It’s generally difficult to find an item with attack power that matches up with one that features strength. So, in general (yes, I know there are exceptions), you’ll want to avoid attack power gear in favor of strength-based armor. With things like cloaks, necklaces, rings and trinkets, you’ll sometimes be able to find upgrades easier that are attack-power-based, as these are all generic items that any DPS class can use. However, for the most part, stick with strength plate and big, slow two-handed weapons.
Reward(s): 13g 23s, 1x Valiant’s Seal and 250 Reputation for each: The Silver Covenant and The Faction you currently hold Valiant Status with
Pick this quest up from the Master of Arms for the Faction you currently hold Valiant Status with, and make your way Southwest to 42, 48 – an area North of the Corp’rethar, and West of the Valley of Fallen Heroes in Icecrown. There you will find primarily two types of mobs: Scourge Standard Bearers and Converted Heroes. Start killing the heroes, you only need 10 so it shouldn’t take you more than a minute. Careful through, they cast Piercing Howl (an ability that slows your movement speed) which can make it difficult to get away from the mob of NPCs. Once you have killed 10, return to the quest giver at the Tournament Grounds for your reward.
Reward(s): 13g 23s, 2x Aspirant’s Seal and 250 Reputation for The Silver Covenant
After accepting this quest from Scout Shalyndria (76, 19), equip your Alliance Lance and mount a Quel’dorei Steed located just outside the Silver Covenant Pavillion. Ride to the Northern side of the Tournament Grounds (72, 19). Here you will see three types of targets: Charge, Melee and Ranged. While keeping your Shield up (fourth ability), Thrust (first ability) a Melee target five(5) times. Now use your Shieldbreaker (second ability) on a Ranged Target until you get two successful hits while it is unshielded (approx. 5-6 Breakers on a fully shielded target will do the job). Finally, using your Shieldbreaker yet again, remove the Shield stack from a Charge Target to make it a Vunerable Charge Target. Before its shield is refreshed use Charge (third ability). Just be careful the speedboost doesn’t send you plummeting off of Icecrown. Use the Charge twice and you will have completed the quest. Return to Scout Shalyndria for your reward.

This is the second boss in Trial of the Crusader. After you healed through the gate bosses that comprise the Northrend Beasts, Lord Jaraxxus is the next step.
My raid group managed to get this demon lord down this past week. We got the 10-man version down several weeks ago but the 25-man version eluded us for some time. Compared to Northrend Beasts, this boss should feel relatively easier. Your raid will spend less time learning Lord Jaraxxus than the previous boss.
Let’s check out the healing side of things, shall we?
Setting up
Your healing group should consist of 6 players. 2 tank healers will suffice. Big plus if you have 2 holy priests or other AoE type healers.
When you’re getting into position, direct your healers to cover the room as much as possible. Ideally your healers should be spaced out evenly from each other in a circle around the center. If each player can be covered by at least 2 or more healers, your raid will be in excellent shape.
Things to watch for
Incinerate Flesh: You thought this debuff was a pain on normal mode for healing. It becomes even more dangerous. If it goes off during normal mode, it’s easily healable. Healers can cover the damage. On heroic, it’s just about a guaranteed wipe when Burning Inferno lands. On normal, 60000 damage has to be healed up. On heroic, that amount increases to 85000. Priests, if their health was already low to begin with when they get this debuff, drop a shield on them to prevent any instant gibs while they get healed up to full.
Legion Flame: This green trail of heat can surprise even the most seasoned of healers. I confess I was exhibited signs of tunnel vision while healing. In one of the earlier attempts, I was roasted alive. Don’t let this happen to you!
No one likes barbequed dwarves, right?
Space yourselves out to avoid Fel Lightning. You can eat a 2nd or 3rd jump from a Fel Lightning and still live. In other words, you should be safe standing next to 1 other person if there’s no room around you due to fires on the ground.
Touch of Jaraxxus is a DoT that will be applied on random players. It’s also going to hit nearby players around them with Curse of the Nether (which is also a DoT). The damage that both abilities do are negligible. That being said, druids should dispel them when they have an opportunity.
Strong communication will play a large role in dealing with the above debuffs. Your healers should be talking to teach other. it keeps everyone focused and on task. It alerts healers as to which raid healer is healing which player.
Optionally, you can designate a player to call out debuffs on your raiders. Unfortunately, the problem with this is that by the time the other player hears the command, it may already be too late for them. it all depends on latency and reaction time.
Reward(s): 13g 23s, 1x Champion’s Seal
Pick up this quest from Tylos Dawnrunner (76, 24) at the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown. Make your way down into the strait to the North of the Grounds. There, you will find a Horde vessel at the base of the Glacier (74, 9). On board you’ll see Buckets of Fresh Chum. Take five and jump into the water, once you’re in the water use the Fresh Chum. One of three sharks, OR an Angry Kvaldir will spawn. The humanoid has no loot, but the sharks drop North Sea Shark Meat at a 100% rate. Repeat this until you have the required three meat and return to Tylos for your reward.
Reward(s): 13g 23s, 1x Champion’s Seal
Acquire this quest from Tylos Dawnrunner (76, 24) at the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown. Travel to K3 in the Southern part of The Storm Peaks and make your way Northeast to Garm’s Bane (42, 81). There, use the provided Weighted Net to capture eight of the passing Snowblind Followers. Once you’ve used the item you can run if the Arctic Kobolds are a little too fast for you. The mobs have no aggro tables and will keep running to their deaths at the hands of the K3 Goblins. Use any form of slowing effect at your classes’ disposal to make this easier (Frost Trap, Earthbind Totem, Slow, etc). Once you’ve subdued eight, return to Tylos for your reward.
Reward(s): 13g 23s, 1x Champion’s Seal
Pick up this quest from Tylos Dawnrunner (76, 24) at the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown. Head to the Flight Master and make your way to The Storm Peaks. Once in the zone you have to get to the Foot Steppes (41, 56) in the central part of the zone. Surrounding the Engine of the Makers, you will find snow mounds. Use the provided Earthshaker Drum near them to spawn a Deep Jormunger or a Stormforged Marauder, slay them and repeat this process until you’ve killed four Jormungar and looted their Jormungar Egg Sacs. Return to Tylos for your reward.
Reward(s): 13g 23s, 1x Champion’s Seal
Pick up this quest from Girana The Blooded (76, 24) at the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown. Head North to Hrothgar’s Landing. The island was formally a Tuskarr settlement before the seafaring Kvaldir attacked. Use the provided Confessor’s Prayer Book on the Slain Tualiq Villagers scattered throughout the South and Eastern portions of the Island. When you’ve administered Last Rites to eight of the slain innocents, return to Girana for your reward.
Reward(s): 13g 23s, 1x Champion’s Seal
Pick this quest up from Girana The Blooded (76, 24) at the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown. This quest requires you to slay Kvaldir assaulting the Horde vessel in the strait North of the Tournament Grounds. Horde will make their way to (44, 53) in Hrothgar’s Landing (West side of the strait). Once you touch down, start killing off the spawning mobs. In total you will need eight Kvaldir Berserkers and three Kvaldir Harpooners. The friendly NPCs will assist you if they are not preoccupied at the time. Also, keep an eye out for the North Sea Kraken that also attacks the ship. His damage is minimal while you’re on the vessel, but his Frost Breath will put a snaring debuff on you that will incapacitate your character for a few seconds. Once you’re done, drop combat and return to Girana for your reward.
