WoW Gold - Silk Cloth Bid then Buyout Guide

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Auction House, WoW Gold Guides

This is for lower levels needing some extra gold. It might get you a few, maybe 10 in a single go if you get lucky. It uses basic strategies of buying and reselling on the auctionhouse to make the money.

Let me make it clear, it might not work on your server (All based on your economy), and this might be common knowledge to some of you, but a ton of people don’t know about it.

First, you need some money to start with, 5 gold would be the best, it won’t get you alot, but you can make some off of it, and keep getting more and more till you can do the guide on a larger scale.

WoW: Keepers of Time / Scale of Sands Reputation Guide

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Reputation

–>From World of Warcraft’s site,
Quote:

“At the heart of the Tanaris desert lie the Caverns of Time, home of the bronze dragonflight. Nozdormu and his flight work to safeguard the time stream against all who might disturb the delicate pathways of fate. Lately a malevolent force has infiltrated the timeways, and the efforts of this mysterious enemy could lead to a destabilization of the world, and even time itself.”

The Keepers of Time are the dragons living in Tanaris’s Caverns of Time - to start getting reputation with them, make sure to first talk to the Dragon NPC infront of the cave, and take the ride down with him to meet his Master, Andormu. Once you do so, you will need to finish a small quest that will make you take a tour around the inner cave, showing you the two instances you can access, as well as the entrance to the battle of Hyjal should you complete the quest for the Scale of the Sands’s envoy.

WoW: The Shattered Halls Walkthrough

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Free Guides

The Shattered Halls are the third and most difficult of the five man instances in the Hellfire Citadel. The citadel itself straddles the Path of Glory leading to the Dark Portal and contains 3 other instances. The Citadel is the home of the Fel Orcs in Hellfire Peninsula and was built by Blackhand and Gul’dan and still houses the Kargath Bladefist.

As mentioned The Shattered Halls is one of the most difficult 5 man instances you encounter on regular difficulty. This is largely due to the large pull groups that you have to deal with. It also ends with a very difficult fight with Kargath Bladefist that gives many groups issues until players are better geared than new level 70 players.

Quests

There are several quests in the Shattered Halls, two available to both factions, two to the Alliance and one for the horde.

WoW: Auchindoun - Auchenai Crypt Walkthrough

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Free Guides

Recommended Level: 66-68
Time Required>: 40-70 minutes
Location: Auchenai Crypt, The Large Crater to the South of Shadrath City

Related Quests:
[67] Everything will be all right
[68] Auchindoun…

About the Instance:

Auchenei crypts is the second instance in the Auchindoun complex, with continues its predecessor’s proliferation of non-standard fights. Once again, the vast majority of the creatures within the instance are casters, and thus cannot be tanked too well. This, coupled with invisible mobs, make this an instance that requires quick reflexes and spur of the moment strategies. While this instance is blissfully quick to do for the appropriate group, its difficulty, coiled with the fact that quests for it are part of long chains, make the instance a reasonably unpopular choice. That said, any Horde player must complete this instance at least once, for it is part of one of the major overarching Horde storylines.

Shadowmoon Valley Warlocks - 250+g per hour!

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Gold Guides

The Shadow Council Warlock, located at Legion Hold -

They are a great resource for Marks of Sargeras and Fel Armaments. A Kara geared Rogue/Enhancement Shaman should have no problem killing these guys in mere seconds, and able to farm them fairly consistently.

An Enhancement Shaman is one of the best classes to use to farm these, since you have 1 interrupt and a totem to eat any stray casts that get through. Not only that, but skillfully using heals and Shamanistic Rage will allow you to farm constantly for hours with no stopping for mana/drinking.

Farming 5,000 Gold within a Week

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Gold Guides

Here is an epic story by someone who went against the odds and got their epic flyer in a week with a little bit of help from a special someone in their life.

The hunt for 5,200 gold is a long and tedious grind. Why so much? Well an epic flying mount for Outland costs exactly that. It’s an excellent game mechanic if you look at it from a financial perspective. Moving around the game faster allows you to complete objectives faster which in turn helps you get through the content at an accelerated pace. Getting through content slowly is what keeps you playing. So why not take the time you’d save, add some to it, and create a grind of epic proportions to obtain something that has relatively no utility except within Outland where you generally have nowhere to go except daily questing.

Most players spend months farming that much gold up. It’d take 26 days at 200 gold a day (from running daily quests) to reach that goal and if you add in repairs, arrows, food/water, reagents, and other costs like enchants/gems/consumables that’ll easily double the time needed. Most everyone constantly splurges too, so it just adds on and on. That 26 days also includes doing every daily for the Shattered Sun Offensive which takes anywhere between 2 to 3 hours a day. Most players don’t have that much time to just farm gold. Instead they spend an hour doing just the isle which in turn would take you 52 days since you only earn about 100 gold for the Isle of Quel’danas quests only (within the island itself).

[Warlock] DS/SF Raiding specs guide

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Warlock Guides

Step one is to spec your warlock properly:

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/…12210013030250

This is the spec that I have been raiding with since I hit 70 and I have been extremely happy with it. It is very similar to the DS/Ruin build I used back at 60.

Here is the reasoning behind picking each of my talents:

Demonology

1/2 Improved Healthstone: You want to coordinate with your fellow raiding warlocks so that if possible your raid has 3 healthstones, 0/2, 1/2, and 2/2.

2/3 Improved Imp: You put points in here just to go further down the tree, you should almost never use your imp. (These points may be placed elsewhere if you like.)

5/5 Demonic Embrace: Stamina is almost as good as mana for a warlock. The more the better, and spirit is useless for a warlock. Due to lifetap you will never be resting long enough to get the 5 seconds required to activate in combat regen.

by Adam Holisky

I like to have a bit of gold on me at all times. When I see something I want for one of my alts, it’s nice to be able to just buy it without thinking about the ramifications for next week’s farming and raiding. There’s a strategy that I’ve been using for a couple months now that’ll let those that follow it earn upwards of 10,000g a month.

To use this strategy, you need to have access to the following:

  • Rare T5/ T6 patterns
  • A steady stream of Badge of Justices or Hearts of Darkness
  • 5 hours a week set aside for hard core farming
  • A second account

Those might look like insane requirements to some, and they’re not wrong. They are a bit steep. However making this amount of gold should not be easy and be able to be done by everyone. But with that said, it’s not too hard to get into a T5 guild these days, and weekly Kara runs plus a few heroics can get you 30+ badges a week.

WoW: How to Make 5k Gold

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Gold Guides

If you are a miner/engineer like i was, get your mote extractor, get the gatherer add on, and go to nagrand, put your goggles on, and start looking for clouds and mine anything you can get too.

For the next day, switch it up and go to netherstorm and farm adamantite only! there will also be mana clouds or w/e you can extract for some extra gold. When you get your adamantite DO NOT SMELT IT.
Get a good friend who can prospect them and you will make much more gold than the ore sell themselves.

Make sure you also have him cut them into some good gems people will buy on the AH.

Next day go to Blades Edge, and farm adamantite and fel iron.

Every step above should take about 1-2 hours or however long you want it to take out of your game time.
You can also do them all in one day! that can add over 500g.

Now thats just engineering and mining. with NO dailies.
