Aside from the first phase of Icecrown (which you unrevokeably pass once you start the Argent Crusade quests there), there are very véry few spots where you can easily grind Borean Leather at a high rate.

What do I define a high rate as?
- High monster uptime
- Leather acquisition guaranteed
- Monsters hit for relatively low damage.

These mobs:
- are always up. Extremely high respawn rate.
- Yield 1 Borean Leather, chance on Arctic Fur (+ various high-selling greys and Iceweb Spider Silk)
- hits for a mere 280 on a Balance druid, is sensitive to root, stun, slow effects.

Go to the Crystalweb Cavern in Storm Peaks.
You need to walk to the very end of it, where Icetip Crawlers spawn.
There they roam, three at a time, and by the time you killed the third one, the first one has respawned. Guaranteed.
Besides that, they walk in a profitable pattern, very little running is required.

Use it while you can!

Get Darnassus Boss Achievment Without Raid Group!

I was messing around in Darnassus today on Skullcrusher US… I was not in a group of any kind- I was just running around killing guards and junk and I made a very nice discovery.

You dont need to be in the raid group in order to get the “For The Horde” Acheivment.. you only need to be in the same capitol city that they are currently raiding

I was all the way accross DN and a raid group downed the boss- I got the achievment!

SO HERES WHAT YOU DO…

STEP 1. GO to DARNASSUS
STEP 2. Wait for a raid to come through
STEP 3. Let them kill boss
STEP 4. GET ACHIEVEMENT

THIS METHOD HAS BEEN RETESTED BY SOME OF THE OTHERS OF MY SERVERS.. IT HAS BEEN DISCOVERED TO BE HORDE ONLY…. MORE SPECIFICALLY DARNASSUS ONLY!!

THIS WILL ONLY WORK WHEN RAIDING DARNASSUS

Was running Violet Hold today and my ghoul was taking a beating, so between two waves of enemies when he was down redlined I patched him up with a heavy frostweave bandage and the achievement pop’ed up.

I asume it’d be considered a exploit since it states that you should use bandage on ‘another player’ that’s down at 5% life. Just go somewhere, have mobs tank it down and settle it solo.

Get Destruction Derby as alliance player

while the Achievement Destruction Derby is bugged for alliance players, you can get the achievement with a little exploit.
You have to destroy the Siegeengine within a duel with your friend, so you and all players nearby get the achievement.

1. get Rank 2
2. build a Siegeweapon
3. exit the Siegeweapon
4. duel a friend
5. get into the Siegeweapon
6. let your friend destroy the Siegeweapon

even the player whos sitting in the Siegeweapon will get the Achievement. So have fun.

How to reduce / get no fall dmg

This Exploit requires a Hunter of lvl 20 and above with the skill: Disengage.

Ok this’ll be hard to explain, but here goes.
To get this right, you’ll have to try it a few times, but once you get it, it’s easy.

1. Get to a high place, I suggest Thunderbluff: Hunter Rise, close to Dummies.

2. Attack the dummies and get into combat.

3. Jump off the cliff and about 10 yards before you hit the ground, hit disengage. Your fall dmg will now be determined from the height of where you used Disengage

Tip: Do not wait till you nearly hit the ground, it always takes a while before disengage goes off, therefor you might die before the actual disengage jump.

Now you might ask yourself: How’s this useful?

We all hate those people who use flying mounts to avoid PvP Combat, but we hate those the most that get off with 10% HP.
Well that’s no problem anymore! Just fly after him, dismount -> Kill Shot, wait till you’re close to the ground and disengage -> no fall dmg.

[Druid] Balance - Kill without being Bruised

There’s these annoying people who gank you, and just when you’re getting back at them they hide behind Bruisers, just as an example: at K3 in Storm Peaks.

As a balance druid, use the following trick: you walk up to them in Druid form.
You cast your Force of Nature ríght next to them, it will spawn the Treants (but dó note they will nót attack anyone, even when they’re flagged)
Now you back off over 36 yards away from them, hold ready to activate Starfall.
Do so, immediately cast Flightform (or Epic, even better) and fly over them, Starfall causing high damage,
ánd causing the Treans to build hate towards your target, and since they’re spawned right next to your target they will most likely cause a good burst of damage before Bruisers are even able to react.

TLDR:
- spawn Treants
- activate Starfall
- fly over.

Sidenotes:
- Starfall and Force of Nature talents needed
- Brambles talent is a +
- use before 3.0.8, it’s changing Starfall.

Easy last man standing achievement

There is an achievement for 5v5 called last man standing. Last Man Standing - Achievement - World of Warcraft

Healers generally will have a hard time getting this achievement because it requires you to be the only one alive at the end of a 5v5 match.

An easy way to get this without risk is to do this:

1. Designate who will get the achievement.
2. Generally the other teams DK will always die last. When he goes into ghoul form, have your team except the one designated leave.
3. Kill the ghoul. (if he corpse explodes or releases, you will still get it)

That’s it!

Making EXTRA Gold ontop of your Mining!!!

this isn’t another guide telling everyone to level mining and to farm Saronite and Titanium in Sholazar and telling you the easiest path to fly.

This IS how ever a suggestion to those who do mine, how you can further increase your gold by doing nothing different.

I farm/mine in Sholazar pretty much every day. And as mentioned in many other threads you can get your self a nice amount of ore and also a nice amount or Eternals (Primals)
THIS is where you can really increase your gold on top of your ore and titanium, steel sales.

You have 2 options. You can either

1/ Sell your stacks of 20 Eternal Earth or Eternal Shadows for roughly 110 gold ( currently what they go for on my server)

2/ This is what I do.
There is 2 items that a JC can make for you using your eternals.

Stoneguard Band - Thottbot: World of Warcraft [ Stone Guard band 2 x Eternal Earth]

Shadowmight Ring - Thottbot: World of Warcraft [ Shadowmight Ring 1x Eternal Earth 1 x Eternal Shadow.]

If I have lots of Earth and no shadow then I make the Stone guard, if I have lots of both then obviously I make the shadow might ring.
Get a JC to craft you as many as you can with the eternals you get from mining in Sholazar or where ever it is your mining your Saronite.
You then get a enchanter to DE those rings and turn them into enchanting mats.
Pretty much for their level item you will get Infinate Dust and Greater Cosmis Essense.
On my server infinate dust is selling for about 4g per dust and Greater Cosmis Essesence is selling for roughly 25 - 28 gold per Greater Cosmic.
I can easily with a stack of 20 rings make well over 150-200gold just from the mats that get DEd from those rings.

So for no extra farming effort and maybe an extra 15 mins when I finsih famring I can generate an extra 150-200 gold profit from what I already have farmed while farming for ore.

I have put this up here as it has been a while since I have posted something new and I know it makes a difference. Both my self and my GF have been doing this for only a week and made 26k gold…. I bought an epic flying skill on one of my toons that didnt have epic flying skill and my GF bought the 18,999,999 Tundra Mammoth that has the 2 vendours in it.
Yes we farmed every day for sometimes up to 3 or 4 hours each.
But we only sold the ore we farmed and used the guide above, making rings and having them DEd into enchanting mats and making addtional 150-200 gold per 20 rings (roughly).

Hope this helps you guys out. YES it is common sense. Just wanted to inform you guys that by using items you will naturally get by famring Saronite and Titanium, you can generate quite alot of additional income with out having to farm any thing extra.

First off i know there are other guides like this and some is common sense, but when i want to make gold these are my methods i use. Which most times i make about 3-5k profit in 4-6 hrs. I move fast and have it all as a system.

Takes a good Enchanter friend and Alchemy friend or alts. Ill start off getting my JC Daily, then spamming Trade WTB Chalcedony 2.5g each or 45g a stack. Do that for 10-15 mins get what i can. Head out to do my JC Daily take 10 min tops. Then i fly out to Sh Basin or Wintergrasp farm ore for no more than two hrs getting around 20 stacks of saronite 2-3 stacks of titanium, If you choose SH Basin and have cooking there are two packs of mamoth around The Glimmering Pillar, i add to my path to make Mega and Mammoth meal.

Head back to town spam trade for the chalcedony some more while i make a titansteel bar(250g),Turn in Daily for Token, get the Dragon’s Eye(400g), Prospect the ores, cut the gems that make alot of profit. Give the Mats to my alch friend for Earthsiege and Skyflare Diamonds (which i normally do the day before by mail) cut those, put in ah while still getting as many chalcedony as i can. Then ill meet up w/ my Enchanter friend by that time i usually have 100-200 Chalcedony’s. which then i use the crstalized earthx2 and Chalcedonyx1 to make the Crystal Chalcedony Amulets and any others u want to make w/ the cheap gems.
after those are made since they are the cheapest of the green gems and profit from the most. Get them all De’ed for about 2-3x profit. Most times i can get alot of Chalcedony b/c there are an overload of them on my server and noone buys em. But when getting them is slow ill take off to Storms Peak and Farm Crystalized fire in the N E Cave on map. for me as a hunter having OP Aoe and them being close to instant spawns i get around 10 Eternal fires/hr.
