Wrath 101: Flight paths in Grizzly Hills

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Free Guides

by ELIAH HECHT

You asked for it, so I’m delivering the next installment of my series on the scenic flight points of Northrend. Today, we’ll be looking at Grizzly Hills, the next zone after Borean Tundra, Howling Fjord, and Dragonblight level-wise. There aren’t a ton of flight points there - just two each for Horde and Alliance.

Wrath 101: How to get to Dalaran

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Free Guides

by ELIAH HECHT

Dalaran, as we all know by now, is Wrath’s equivalent of Shattrath. It’s a neutral city with portals back to every other major city (each faction’s four capitals plus Shattrath), it has profession trainers and a bank (but no class trainers besides Mage and no auction house), and we’ll probably be spending a lot of time in it once we all hit 80. It floats above Crystalsong Forest in central Northrend. But how do you get there?

Mages can teleport there at level 71, and give portals there at 74. So that’s one option. Similarly, you can get a Warlock to summon you, if they can find players around to help. Players also get quests to go there legitimately and get attuned to use the crystal that teleports you up and down at level 74, but who wants to wait that long?

Enter the Battleground summon. This is how I and almost everyone I know got to Dalaran the first time, and it goes like this:

  1. Find someone in Dalaran (”/who Dalaran” is helpful for this) and ask politely if they are willing to group with you and queue the group for a battleground.
  2. When you get into the battleground, /afk out (or play it through).
  3. Poof! You’re in Dalaran.

This works at any level, for any character (although you do need to ensure the person queueing you is in the same battleground level bracket as you; thanks to Faeries Wear Boots for pointing this out). Once there you can set your hearthstone at any of several inns for quick return, and there is a flight point at Krasus’ Landing - if you grab a flight point or two in Dragonblight for connections (Mo’aki Harbor being the easiest), you should then be able to fly to Dalaran from most flight points in Northrend.

Easy [Volunteer Work] Achievement

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Achievements, WoW Free Guides

Volunteer Work is a requirement for the Glory of the Hero achievement(Red Proto-Drake).

A lot of the people on my server have been having a problem with this one, so I came up with a strategy that is pretty much sure-fire.

This strategy requires a druid/paladin/death knight/warrior/hunter in the group that is not the tank.

Baron mount farming

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Achievements, WoW Free Guides

This is NOT a guide to help you get your mount by bugging out and skipping through doors or just exploiting through. Do not think that.

What this is is simply the quickest way to legitimately farm the Rivendares Skele-horse.

Note: This is aimed for hunters, but is applicable for anyone who can dodge around mobs and/or get out of combat easily. This is applicable to most anyone who can AoE decent amounts of mobs. if you aren’t a hunter simply replace the hunter spells with your class AoE spells and disregard all other hunter things as they aren’t necessary for a quick Baron run.

Also you may post this guide on another forum but make sure you give credit to the one who made this guide (me ^3^).

Note 2, this is not legal, i might have posted this in the wrong section but if i did i kindly ask a mod to move it to wow exploits, bots etc.

It is very Important that you make ur bank alt a mage since this is what the guide is all about, basiclly ALL mages start
with friendly rep with Kirin’Tor and thus making them able to buy the tabard at any level.

12 instantly respawning mobs (>lvl 74)

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Free Guides, WoW Instance

In Zul’Drak there is a quest chain amongst the Knights of the Ebon Blade. Starting with An Invitation, of Sorts… - Quest - World of Warcraft and ending with Betrayal - Quest - World of Warcraft in which you will have to kill Drakuru while taming some very strong Troll.

Where that quest takes place, on top of a necropolis, amongst the sides there are 12 geists, stacked in packs of three each. These geists will always instantly respawn when killed so you can effectively just aoe or single target kill them down yet always have mobs on you to go.

How to get to Icecrown without a flying mount

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Free Guides

I will show you how to get to Icecrown without a flying mount.

This is for whoever wants to grind on the mobs found in icecrown early, or just want to explore it.

First, you need to be in dalaran. Have a friend mage port you there, this is the easiest part.

Second, unless you are a mage, you will need a Noggenfogger Elixir - Item - World of Warcraft

You need this item to get the effect to fall slowly.
