I was messing around in Darnassus today on Skullcrusher US… I was not in a group of any kind- I was just running around killing guards and junk and I made a very nice discovery.
You dont need to be in the raid group in order to get the “For The Horde” Acheivment.. you only need to be in the same capitol city that they are currently raiding
I was all the way accross DN and a raid group downed the boss- I got the achievment!
SO HERES WHAT YOU DO…

Was running Violet Hold today and my ghoul was taking a beating, so between two waves of enemies when he was down redlined I patched him up with a heavy frostweave bandage and the achievement pop’ed up.
I asume it’d be considered a exploit since it states that you should use bandage on ‘another player’ that’s down at 5% life. Just go somewhere, have mobs tank it down and settle it solo.

while the Achievement Destruction Derby is bugged for alliance players, you can get the achievement with a little exploit.
You have to destroy the Siegeengine within a duel with your friend, so you and all players nearby get the achievement.
1. get Rank 2
2. build a Siegeweapon
3. exit the Siegeweapon
4. duel a friend
5. get into the Siegeweapon
6. let your friend destroy the Siegeweapon

There is an achievement for 5v5 called last man standing. Last Man Standing - Achievement - World of Warcraft
Healers generally will have a hard time getting this achievement because it requires you to be the only one alive at the end of a 5v5 match.
An easy way to get this without risk is to do this:

So I noticed a lot of people on my server are getting the black war bear now but I haven’t really seen any guides on here about how to obtain it so I decided to compile this little guide. I know it seems like it would be very simple to get but the truth is on some servers with higher populations it can be very difficult.
This is just my version, I know with subjects like this opinions can get in the way– and I am aware there are several methods of obtaining this mount and several different routes etc to get there and such.
THIS GUIDE IS FOR HORDE, I DO NOT PLAY ALLIANCE AND I HAVE NEVER CLAIMED TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT- SO DONT ASK! Lol
Step 1. Get together a FULL 40-man raid group.

So here you are, a new level 80 Death Knight. You’ve made your triumphant return to Ebon Hold to train your level 80 skills and hearthed back to Dalaran, and now you’re hanging out in front of the bank on your favorite mount. And you have no idea what to do next. No worries, here’s a list of goals that should answer that eternal question (eternal in this case being the time to the next expansion), “I’m level 80. Now What?”
Choose Your Weapon
Once you’ve hit 80, as a 2-handed weapon wielder, there’s 3 major weapons you want to start shooting for. Here’s a look at those three choices and the pros and cons.

So now you know all about the zone, familiarized yourself with the gameplay, and have some sort of idea on the strategies on how to win it, let’s have a look at the daily quests associated with the zone. The cool thing about Wintergrasp dailies is that they are the only source of Stone Keeper’s Shards outside of dungeon bosses and the only way to obtain them whether or not your faction controls Wintergrasp.

Chilly Slobberknocker
Is your Mage still working their way to level 80? If so, this is an easy choice. Once your Mage has reached level 75, you can take them toZul’drak and head directly for the Amphitheater of Anguish. This is the Northrend equivalent of Nagrand’s Ring of Blood questline, in that it’s a series of 5-man boss fights that grants a ridiculous amount of gold, potions, and experience, and ends with a pretty fantastic selection of blue weaponry as a final reward. The Mage choice is the Chilly Slobberknocker, and it it’s a great gift for any mid-level spell-slinger on your list. This will be an instant upgrade for almost any Mage at the level, and there isn’t a valid replacement until you begin to get access to level 80 instance drops.

Engineering
Engineering in Wrath of the Lich King is very different from what you’ve experienced previously. For example, Engineers used to be weighed down by trinkets, if they ever wanted to be able to use many of their gadgets. This system is slowly being replaced by a special type of “enchant” that allows an Engineer to consolidate.
Engineers are also beginning to focus on designing items that can be sold to other players, which adds another side to the profession.

We’ll have 3 sections today. The Good are stats that are excellent choices for DPS, Tanks, or both. The So-So are stats which still do us some good, but are pretty situational or conditional in their usefulness. The Outcasts are those stats that you should avoid — Well, I’d say avoid like the plague, but we’re Death Knights. We like the plague around here. So I’ll just say you should avoid them.
The Good:
Strength and Attack Power: Strength is the number one stat for most types of Death Knight DPS, and is hardly a slouch for tanking either. 1 strength converts to 2 attack power, and that attack power scales into spell power for the purpose of a Death Knight’s spells, which include diseases and non-weapon attacks such as Death Coil. In addition, 4 strength converts into 1 parry rating.
