Obtain the Sunreaver Orders.
Description
One of my contacts in the Underbelly caught sight of a Sunreaver agent buying reagents from a dealer in the Black Market area. The Sunreavers normally aren’t known for their interest in what goes on down in the sewers, so that’s a big indication that they’re planning something.
Head into the Underbelly, find this Sunreaver agent, and take care of him. Search the body for any information that might give us a lead on the location of that tome from Wyrmrest. We can’t let them get it back to Icecrown first.

Capture the Silver Covenant Orders.
Description
One of my contacts in the Underbelly caught sight of a Silver Covenant agent gathering information at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern. Silver Covenant members aren’t normally found in the sewers, so they must be plotting something.
Go into the Underbelly, find this Silver Covenant agent, and eliminate him. Search the body for any information that might give us a lead on the location of that tome from Wyrmrest. We can’t let those simpering Silver Covenant weaklings get it back to Icecrown before we do.

Appearances to the contrary, the waning days of an expansion are actually a pretty good time to apply to a raiding guild. That’s when attendance gets choppy, the pool and the grill issue a siren call from the deck, people go on vacation, or — having “finished” the expansion — they just take off, period. If you look at the recruitment forums, you’ll see a ton of guilds looking for players right now. If you’ve ever wanted to raid but haven’t gotten the chance, I think there is no better time. The Icecrown zone buff is a fantastic buffer for anyone who’s not emerging with a bevy of best in slot from tier 9, and the raid itself is one brilliant lore moment from beginning to end.
However, applying to a raiding guild — particularly if you haven’t done much raiding in the past — can be on the intimidating side. With that in mind, here’s a guide on how best to present yourself if you’re applying anywhere as a feral or restoration druid.
A few non-druid specific guidelines:

Raelorasz at the Transitus Shield wants you to obtain the Prison Casing from General Cerulean and the Energy Core from Warbringer Goredrak.
Description
You’ve discovered a fragment of a special prison, <name>.
Malygos’ minions use similar prisons to hold their captured mages and other arcane entities, but this prison was constructed to hold something… stronger.
In hopes that the enemy of our enemy will prove to be a friend, you must search for the prison’s remaining fragments.
They are likely to be in the possession of Malygos’ most trusted underlings.

Archmage Berinand in the Transitus Shield wants you to collect 3 Glacial Splinters and 3 Magic-Bound Splinters from the Ancients in Coldarra.
Description
It’s become clear that the instability in the region has had an effect on its indigenous creatures.
I’ve taken a particular interest in the Glacial Ancients and their recent adaptations. I suspect that their transformation into these ‘Magic-bound’ Ancients may hold clues to our predicament here.
For my studies, I’ll need samples from both. Do hurry….

Haste follows a pretty different system between spells and melee attacks. When it comes to casters, haste influences how fast a spell is cast as well as the GCD for all abilities, allowing for the standard 1.5-second GCD to be reduced to 1 second. Haste for melee attacks, however, only increases the swing timer of auto-attacks and does not reduce the GCD on physical abilities.
This has created a pretty big disparity between how melee value haste over casters, with casters generally favoring haste far more than melee classes. Blizzard has attempted to equalize this in some ways throughout Wrath of the Lich King by increasing the amount of haste that melee get per point of rating, yet that really hasn’t made much of a difference. Cataclysm will attempt to address this disparity once again by increasing the resource gain of melee classes through haste. Obviously the finer points of this mechanic are not known to the community at large yet, and it is unlikely that Blizzard has the system fine tuned at this point anyway, so this article will not address that fact. It is something to remember for the future, though.

This week we’re looking at yet another endangered death knight play style: frost tanking. Frost tanking is one of those strangely misunderstood specs in that many players consider it to be the only tanking spec, or at least the only viable one. This is based on the old pre-beta outline of the death knight class that dedicated frost as the tank tree. Blizzard decided to allow all three trees to tank well before even the alpha was over, but the myth of frost tanking supremacy persisted. Now, there really will be only one tank tree, but instead of frost, it’s going to be blood. That means that if you want to experience the original death knight tanking tree, you only have a few more months max to do it. That’s why we have this guide.
This a 101 guide, so the usual disclaimers apply. This is meant to get people well on their way to being a viable frost tank, but it’s not a be all, end all guide, so there are additional tricks and talenting tweaks experienced tanks will know and pick up. These are just the basics.

Keristrasza wants you to use the Power Focus to lure Saragosa, and then defeat her.
Description
Using the mana crystals you provided, I have created this Power Focus.
Saragosa is a glutton. She will be unable to resist its lure. Inside it lie magics that will greatly diminish her power. Let us hope she does not see through my ruse….
Prepare yourself, <name>, and speak to me again when you are ready to face Saragosa.
