Found this whilst surfing Shadowpriest.com and surprisingly enough .. it kinda works. If your good at Priority casting.. you might loose some DPS. But if you suck at it .. you will definately gain some DPS.

I have been on the PTR, perfecting my spell rotation macros for the next patch.

Thought I would share them here.

Since I started sharing my macros, I have had many shadow priests log on to my realm to say thanks, as their dps went up and they started topping the WWS logs for boss fights by using them.

I also have been criticized by peeps in the forums, who – having never tried them – claim they don’t work. I just laugh and keep out dpsing the hunters, the locks, the mages, and the rest. I have even posted my WWS logs, which show 5k to 6k dps on most boss fights and they still flame me.

Fortunately, it doesn’t bother me. As long as I keep topping the charts on dps, they can flame away.

Here is what I will be using when 3.1 hits:

The 3.2 PTR recently went live and the epic gems were indeed the ones that were introduced. As we mentioned before, these were in the game files since Wotlk Beta. There are a total of 72 different cuts:

Each of these 72 recipes can be bought from the Jewelcrafting trainer in Dalaran for 5 tokens each. So if you wanted every single new recipes, it will cost 360 tokens. However, to speed up the process of obtaining tokens, a new quest is available from the vendor. The repeatable quest, Titanium Powder, requires you to turn in 10 [Titanium Powder] and rewards a [Dalaran Jewelcrafter's Token]. The powder is a byproduct of prospecting [Titanium Ore]. During the first weeks of 3.2, we recommend that you spend your tokens on some of the less obvious cuts instead of the pure Spell Power, Agility, and Stamina ones since a lot of players will be focused on these recipes and flood the auction house with these gems.

Prot-healing Paladin General Tips!

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Paladin Guides, WoW Raiding Guides

some tips on how to make the Holy/Prot Talent Calculator – World of Warcraft spec work a little better for you.

The basic purpose of this spec, as you can see from looking over it, is a high rate of survivability without a huge gimp to your ability to heal. What you might think right away is it’s not enough points in healing, but it really is. With the Touched by the Light talent, it increases the amount your critical heals do, so my flash of lights basically critically heal for eight to ten thousand.

Which brings me to the first part of this”Guide”, healing. You need to go ahead and take Holy Light off of your bars, because you don’t need it. It is arguable that it’s still helpful if you need to bubble and top yourself/team mates off, but trust me, you’ll be more mana efficient and better off with Flash of Light. The reasoning behind this is your flash of light, as I stated above, can critically heal for up to ten thousand, where as your Holy Light will base heal for around that much, with a much higher mana cost. So once you factor in mana, number of heals cast and healing done, all while in combat, Flash of Light is the better choice. Keeping Sacred Shield up on your target will help tremendously as well, as whenever it procs it gives your Flash of Light a 50% to critically heal, putting you at about an 80% chance, depending on your gear.

Farm 20+ Frost Lotus / hour played

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Gold Guides, WoW Professions

This little trick require 3 things..
1. Your a druid/rogue
2. You got Herbalism as profession
3. Your guild runs either 10 or 25 man Ulduar

As you might have noticed inside Ulduar the Freya room is packed with all kinds of random herbs, but ya might not have noticed that the herbs reset/respawn every 45-60 minutes
The first 4 herb nodes inside the room can be picked up by any class and they dont require stealth to reach but all other nodes inside the room require it.
Watch the patrols in there carefully and use your brain to time your herb-pickups and your stealth/prowl carefull and with some training you will be able to farm 2/3 of all herb nodes inside the room in 5-6 minutes.
In 57 minutes played today i picked up 27(!!) Frost Lotuses, in some runs i might just get 1 or 2 but when really lucky i can get 6-7-8 each reset.
My advide is to pick up ALL herbs you can reach because the nodes in this room have greatly increased droprate for Lotuses.
Once you get good control of how the patrol moves around inside the room you can farm it w.o dying even once but a solid tip is to remove all gear with durability while doing this

Disclaimer and Credits
This guide was written by Skaven, proud member of MMOwned forums and would-be-main-tank Elfamaja in Hakkar-Eu server.

This guide can be shared and copied AS IS, without modifications and with this section included. If you feel like, you can give credits, and they are hoped for. If you feel like donating, choose a suitable charity near you.

Purpose
This guide has been written for new tanks who want to seriously delve into the wonderful world of tanking instances and raids in World of Warcraft. In this entire guide, the emphasis is for NEW tanks, so most if not all of the methods described below involve spending as less gold as possible, with as less randomness as possible. I will try and include alternative methods for players who have gold to spend, but buying your way to victory is NOT the purpose of this guide.

Also, because of the differences between feral druids and the other tanks, this guide is only for plate wearers. Sorry, my furry friends!
However, the general information and advice are valid for druids, too.

Your new level 80 character and tanking
So you’ve just levelled your tank (Warrior, Paladin, Druid, and Death Knight) and eagerly want to go in the first instance you see with your friends and raze it with all your green and blue equipment.

Change WoW Login/ Intro Music

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Free Guides

Changing the music you hear when you log-in is quite simple. All you need is an MP3 of your choice and access to your WoW directory folder (which I hope you should have anyway if you play WoW).

It should look like this:

\World of Warcraft\Data\Sound\Music\GlueScreenMusic\Wotlk_main_title.mp3
(same on Mac’s and PC’s obviously)

NOTE: Chances are you will have to CREATE the \Sound\Music\GlueScreenMusic\ folders since they don’t normally exist. Normal folder creation is all it takes, no special properties need be applied except that they are named correctly.

You can use any mp3 song you own, just duplicate the song you want and place the duplicate in the GlueScreeMusic folder and rename to the above.

Naxx Gluth Strategy

Posted by: free-wow-guide   in WoW Boss Guides, WoW Exploits, WoW Raiding Guides

In Naxx when you get to the Pipe, have everyone stand on the pipe right before the tunnel. Send a high mitigation/avoidance tank, a healer, and either a Shadow Priest or Hunter down the pipe. Once at the end, you can glitch Gluth to jump up and into the pipe, eliminating the adds completely.

How to do it:

Hunter puts himself just in range to see Gluth and shoots. Pressing the side strafe keys repeatedly (by default these are Q and E if you never changed your keys) and it will glitch him in and out of combat. You will see him dance around almost mimicing your movements. It will take a couple of shots to get him fully up there, as each time he moves closer twitching. Next thing you know, he is at the top of the tunnel. Tank picks it up and drags Gluth towards the pipe and your raid party.

Basically this is 100% easy mode. Decimate isn’t a factor, and Enrage is the only concern but you should easily burn him down before the timer.

I have had my guild try this a couple times and it worked both times, so it is not nerfed yet.
